As we slip into another year…

It’s that time of the year. Although I wish this for you all every day of the year, it is customary to articulate it now…

Unconditionally and without exception; To each and all of my family, friends, enemies and lurkers (and both readers of this blog), God bless you all and meet you at your point of need – not only in 2012 but in the years thereafter. Happiness and prosperity are double-edged swords but I hope they will benefit you in the most positive way.

May you be blessed with wisdom, insight and understanding. May our quick tempers, anger and arrogance desert us quicker than a Namib mist. Above all may you gain insight and a realisation of the Eternal Things; and act in accordance with your conscience.

I hope that each of you become happily aware of receiving so much love that you cannot help but love others – freely, unconditoinally and selflessly.

Love you all stukkend.

About Freud Fission Chips

Despite the banality of the name, FFC has led an intensely varied life. Grateful for surviving almost three years as a 'troepie' (soldier for non-South African Readers) in the Angolan war, he determined to wring as much out of life as possible. Currently providing Business Analysis services, trading on the stock market and developing web pages to pay the bills, FFC also dabbles in wildlife, landscape and people photography, writing, and far too many interests for his own good. He has also travelled extensively in southern Africa (working on the sound theory that a moving target is more dificult to hit). These peregrinations also include over 1500kms on foot through some of the worlds most spectacular scenery. It hasn't all been plain sailing, beer and skittles, and endless beds of roses... Chief amongst the prerequisites for surviving Africa, with its mind-bending characteristics, is an appropriate sense of humour.... So, for now, he will be recounting the amusing among the annoying, the frustrating wrapped in the funny and extracting the mirth from the melancholy... Oh yes, there might be some alliteration too.

  2. Glad to have you as a friend Vivi. God willing, in addition to the ongoing chapters of our travels in Namibia, we will be putting up the move (it’s joys and challenges) on the blog too – with hopefully a photo or two of the newly rented domicilium.

I’m looking forward to seeing more of your pics and hearing of lots of success in 2012.
